Studio Shield
Learn how to properly use the Production Studio and assist patrons with their simple questions about filming, lighting, and audio in the studio.
Things to learn:
- Watch this video explaining how to use the camera in the Production Studio
- What to do if a patron leaves the studio unkempt/messy
- What happens if a patron is late for their reservation
- How long the studio can be reserved
Then:
- Find a time to reserve the production studio apart from your normal desk hours. Get permission from Ben, clock in, and practice using the studio. Learn as much as you can about the following beforehand to make the process go smoothly.
- Switch the camera between 1080 and 4K (also know when to film with each)
- Change the shutter speed, aperture, gain, and frame rate
- Use zebra pattern to show overexposed areas
- Use three-point lighting (learn what this is beforehand)
- Know how to turn the various lights on/off
- Reset the camera to the default settings (1/60 s, 30 fps, 1920X1080)
- Export as MP4
- Format the SD card
