Hook

• A set of pictures and then them combined into a Panorama

Intro:

• Any questions since last time?
• We will be learning about merging photos and healing them. You might need to merge photos if the area you wanted to capture was too large, such as when taking a panorama.
• When pictures are merged things often don’t go 100% right and then we need to heal them. We also often have to heal single photos when something unwanted appears in the picture.

Photomerge

• Merge multiple photos together
• Fill empty areas with content aware fill (Edit > Fill > Content Aware Fill)
• Explain what content-aware fill is
  • When it is a good idea to use content-aware fill, and when it’s not

Healing photos

• (Remember to demonstrate on a new layer as to be non-destructive)
• Red-Eye Tool
• Spot Healing Brush
• Healing Brush
• Clone stamp
• Patch tool
• Remove with content aware fill
  • Content aware fill workspace
• Content aware move

Note: Today’s lesson might be a little shorter depending on how fast you get through the material with your class. If you have extra time, it’d be a good idea to review past concepts (especially masks, they can be hard to understand)
